Texas Education 911 is a true grassroots effort to drive the conversation to urgently fix Texas public schools. All across Texas, parents, grandparents, and brave teachers are speaking up and working together, because we know many things need to change in Texas public education in order for our children to receive the best education possible, free of controversy and otherwise avoidable problems.
Positive change can occur only when the real problems and sources of problems come to be understood by lawmakers. For years, special interests have enabled parents to be excluded from the conversation at the legislative level, and look where we are. Our public education system is toward the bottom in the nation and no one is effectively advocating for our children and the parent-teacher relationship, which is crucial to any child's learning.
So we are changing that. For our kids.
We aim to inform, advise and provide the collective voice of the biggest stakeholder in public ed: The parents.
We bring parent-identified solutions to parent-identified problems.
Organizations, Leaders, Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, Taxpayers...
Join the cause, show your support and become an official ALLY!
Tell us why you support the Legislative Priorities of Texas Education 911. Help your story bring about a positive impact something for your family and other Texas families. How would a Parent Ombudsman or enforcement of the laws have helped your situation? Lawmakers need to hear from the primary stakeholders of public schools: Parents.
We appreciate the tremendous financial support through the 88th Regular Session. We have launched a new fundraising page to focus on Special Session (Champion-A-Child) and would appreciate any gift you can gift to defray our expenses. Currently, gifts are not tax-deductible.
